Consumer Energy App · planned
Your energy account in a clearer view.
We are designing a customer app that lets households and tenants see their balance and usage, track recharges and report problems. It is not yet available to download.

What the app is planned to do
-
Balance
PlannedIntegration dependentYour prepaid balance in kWh or currency, with the time it was last updated. Available only where your meter and energy provider make balance data accessible.
-
Consumption
PlannedUsage today and over recent days, weeks and months, so you can see patterns and spot changes.
-
Recharge
PlannedIntegration dependentBuying credit from within the app, once your energy provider’s vending and payment systems are integrated and approved. No recharge is possible through this website.
-
Transaction history
PlannedIntegration dependentA list of your past recharges, drawn from your provider’s approved vending or payment records.
-
Low-credit notifications
PlannedIntegration dependentAn alert when your balance falls below a level you set. Any estimate of how long credit will last will state the usage it assumes.
-
Fault reporting
PlannedReport a meter or supply problem and follow its progress through your provider’s support process.
Good to know
Availability and data refresh
What you can see, and how often it refreshes, depends on your energy provider and the devices connected at your premises. Readings could be minutes or hours old; the app will always show when data was last updated.
About estimates
An estimate such as “about four days of credit left” assumes your use continues at a recent average. If you use more or less electricity, the actual time will differ.
The app will be offered through participating energy providers. If you are a household interested in metering, start with Smart Metering.
Interested in the customer app?
Operators can ask about offering it to their customers; households can register interest.
